Location: Smithfield, NC
Summary: Join our Forest Products Division in this full-time, entry-level role supporting department operations and administrative needs. You’ll handle phone inquiries, process orders and invoices, maintain internal records, and support the sales team achieving departmental goals. Essential functions:
- Provide administrative support including order entry, inquiries, pricing checks, checking order status, and detailed message handling
- Maintain records, process acknowledgments/invoices, and update product data
- Generate quotes and purchase orders as needed
- Update spreadsheets and/or charts
- Maintain contact and distribution lists
- Responsible for short pays and credit processing
Required education and experience:
- High school diploma and at least 1 year of administrative experience
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic accounting knowledge
Preferred education and experience:
- College degree
- LBM industry experience
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
• This is a full time, in-office, hourly position. Regular hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 hours per week.
Pay Range:
In North Carolina, the starting pay rate for this role is $24.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills and certifications
